Considerações sobre a formação do professor elaboradas a partir do processo de desenvolvimento de um software educativo para educação fundamental

O texto aborda questões relativas à formação do professor para o uso pedagogicamente significativo do software educativo e de dispositivos e estratégias de informática educativa. Em sua redação, foram considerados um trabalho já concluído de desenvolvimento de um software educativo para educação fundamental intitulado "O Dado de Contos" e dois trabalhos de observação de professores, sendo um em situação de manuseio do referido software e outro em situação de gestão de relações educativas mediadas pelo computador. Os professores que forneceram os dados para a investigação foram observados por meio de abordagens diretas, em situação de sala de aula em que eles eram nossos alunos e em que eles eram regentes de classe. As conclusões do texto apontam para possibilidades de superação do descompasso gerado quando professores sem preparação específica aventuram-se no emprego do software como meio didático.
