Papers of Language and Society

Cadernos de Linguagem e Sociedade (L & S) is an interdisciplinary journal, biannual, aiming to contribute to the dissemination of current and original research, resulting from in-depth studies in the field of Discourse Studies, focusing on the relations between language and social , political, educational and cultural practices.

Research articles, critical reviews and essays, all unpublished and resulting from consistent research in the area of Discourse Studies, are received in a continuous stream in Portuguese, English, Spanish or French. Special dossiers are published sporadically under the organization of members of the Editorial Committee of the University of Brasilia.
