Colocações no ensino de língua espanhola:
uma proposta de atividade para aprendizes brasileiros

Collocations are combinations formed by two or more words that have specific values and meanings and are related to the culture and tradition of the language. The constructions can convey difficulties for learners, because they relate to the language in which they are inserted and can express meanings considered complex. In this sense, our work aims to present a proposal four activities using collocations for Brazilian students learning Spanish as a foreign language. To develop our proposal, we first selected lexical units referring to body parts, as the activity is aimed at learners at levels A2 to B1. Next, we selected, based on their frequency in CORPES XXI, five collocations belonging to this lexical field, formed by noun + adjective and, finally, we organized the four exercises focused on learning, understanding the meaning, memorizing and using them in textual production. We hope that the activities can help learners understand this part os Spanish language somatisms and that work with corpora can be encouraged in foreign language classes.
