Autismo e o paradigma da neurodiversidade na pesquisa educacional

Resumo

Este trabalho buscou identificar os modos como o autismo é abordado em pesquisas educacionais situadas no campo dos estudos críticos do autismo, por meio de pesquisa de revisão da literatura nacional e internacional produzida entre 2007 e 2020. Os resultados mostraram crescente produção do conhecimento no cenário internacional, mas ainda escassa em âmbito nacional. A análise evidenciou que, sob a ótica da neurodiversidade, o autismo assume um caráter identitário, político e social que contribui para o desenvolvimento de propostas baseadas na acessibilidade e na participação dos estudantes autistas, garantindo sua permanência e aprendizagem nas instituições educacionais.
