Abstract

The article “On the matter of the dynamics of child character” of Liev Semionovitch Vygotski was published for the first time in 1928, in the review Pedagogy and Education, Rabotnik Prosvechenia Editor in Moscow. Later, it was published in the 5th volume of the Complete Works in 6 volumes in1983 by the Pedagogika Editor, also in Moscow. In 1995, Prosvechenie Editor reunited in one single book all the works of Vygotski on the defectology and published under the title Fundamentals of the defectology. The present article became one of the chapters in this book.

The current publication is the first version of this work of L. S. Vygotski translated from Russian to Portuguese (Zoia Prestes).

Author Biography

Liev Semionovitch Vigotski

pensador, crítico de arte, pedagogo e psicólogo russo, colaborador do Instituto de Psicologia Experimental de Moscou, um dos fundadores da escola soviética de psicologia e autor da teoria histórico-cultural. Lecionou em diferentes universidades de Moscou, estudou o desenvolvimento das funções psíquicas superiores, o processo de desenvolvimento do pensamento e da fala, as questões relacionadas à defectologia, o desenvolvimento psicológico da criança, entre outros temas.
