Usabilidade como enfoque de colaboração multiprofissional: Um estudo de caso didático sobre tradução centrada em usuárias/os

Por mais que muitas teorias da tradução foquem nas/os leitoras/es e no contexto alvo, métodos de usabilidade não têm tradicionalmente integrado a formação de tradutoras/es. Uma inovação denominada Tradução Centrada em Usuárias/os (TCU), um modelo baseado em usabilidade e no design centrado em usuárias/os, oferece ferramentas de usabilidade concretas que estavam em falta nas teorias de tradução. A TCU também pretende ajudar tradutoras/es a falar a mesma língua que outras/os especialistas em comunicação, como redatoras/es técnicas/os. Uma vez que ambas as profissões compartilham a filosofia da defesa dos interesses das/os usuárias/os, o conceito de usabilidade é um denominador comum que pode funcionar como ponto central de colaboração. Neste estudo de caso didático, nós discutimos o ensino de quatro métodos da TCU: as personas, a/o leitora/or implícita/o, a avaliação heurística e a testagem de usabilidade. Nós descrevemos nossas experiências didáticas, analisamos o feedback de estudantes acerca dos quatro métodos e relatamos uma atividade realizada pelas/os discentes envolvendo a avaliação heurística. Por fim, nós também sugerimos maneiras nas quais a TCU pode fomentar a importante conexão entre competências profissionais e colaboração multiprofissional.
