Este artigo busca articular a reorganização do contexto planetário aos produtos econômicos, sociais e culturais e, em particular, a educação como um dos espaços que permite formar o cidadão global e local. A concepção de cidadania é o elemento captado para compreender e ressignificar a importância da leitura crítica no processo de desconstrução da verdade, que controla e regula a cidadania formal, interditando a busca da cidadania planetária.
