Abstract

This article focuses on the interaction that was obtained between a teacher and his students when tasks in general and among them, “problematizing tasks” are implemented in foreign language teaching; The data collected showed how the teacher and the students, mediated by a didatic material centered on the history of the United States, built a common dialogue that led to an interactive frame of active thinking in the target language. The specific features of the interaction trigged by “problematizing tasks” were just the result obtained from that environment.
