The Editorial Board of the InSURgência: revista de direitos e movimentos sociais [InSURgence: rights and social movements journal] informs that the receipt of submissions to this journal is temporarily suspended, in the period between July 5, 2024 and February 1, 2025. In this period, only submissions directed to the thematic dossiers will be received.

InSURgência: revista de direitos e movimentos sociais [InSURgence: rights and social movements journal], linked to the Instituto de Pesquisa, Direitos e Movimentos Sociais - IPDMS  [Institute for Research, Rights and Social Movements] and linked to the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Direitos Humanos e Cidadania da Universidade de Brasília (PPGDH/UnB) [Graduate Program in Human Rights and Citizenship at the University of Brasilia] aims to disseminate unpublished theoretical production regarding the theme “rights and social movements”. With the perspective of boosting the research activity developed with, by and for social movements, mobilizing researchers from all over Brazil in various thematic areas, IPDMS proposes to publish a publication, in the format of an international journal, that promotes productions theorists who are committed to the construction of critical and liberating knowledge on the subject of rights and social movements, allowing the creative and engaged elaboration of analyzes and interpretations on the various subjects that affect the Brazilian and Latin American people.
