The research line Representation in Contemporary Literature, created in 2004, is presented based on the productions of its research groups, with emphasis on collective projects by faculty members, master's dissertations, and doctoral theses produced over the last twenty years. The article discusses its main theoretical contributions, particularly the concept of literary representation. The constant concern for greater diversity of social groups represented in the literary field is emphasized. Facts and events are highlighted and intertwined with personal experiences, from different perspectives as a student, researcher, and professor affiliated with the Postgraduate Program in Literature at the University of Brasília.
