Abstract

This paper addresses the problems of translation education in the context of localization and globalization in the big data era, highlighting the important changes in the translation market and pointing out the shortcomings in the teaching proposals, curriculum design and faculty development in China's undergraduate and postgraduate translation programs. It also discusses the solutions that have been successfully tried in Shandong Normal University, Shanghai Foreign Languages University, Zhejiang University, China Petroleum University, Fujian Normal University, Nankai University and Fudan University, which can be adapted to the situation of other colleges and universities
