El presente texto propone la traducción del portugués al español del cuento “Senhor Diretor” [i] de la escritora brasileña Lygia Fagundes Telles, publicado por primera vez en el libro Seminário dos ratos (1977). El objetivo principal de la traducción es contribuir a la difusión de la obra cuentística de la autora en Hispanoamérica, dado que, a pesar de su grande relevancia y amplio reconocimiento literario, no se cuenta con traducciones de esta al español.
