Resumo: José Rubens Siqueira é profissional das artes desde a década 1960 e já traduziu diferentes nomes da literatura estrangeira, como Toni Morrison, Shakespeare, Mario Vargas Llosa, Vladimir Nabokov e Anne Enright. A entrevista foi concedida em março de 2021 por videoconferência. O intúito foi compreender melhor seu trabalho como tradutor, uma vez que ele já é bastante conhecido por suas produções no teatro e no cinema. Em nossa conversa, Siqueira compartilhou sua visão sobre o ato de traduzir, o processo que adota e sanou algumas dúvidas referentes a sua tradução da obra irlandesa The Gathering, de Anne Enright, publicada em 2008 pela Alfaguara.
