The record presents the results of the first version of the narrative performance, The Weaver of Nights. This aesthetic partnership, which brings together artists from the Vocalidade & Cena Research Group (CNPq/2003), embraces the ancient and multicultural universe of One Thousand and One Nights, focusing on the ruthless universe of King Sharriar, a serial killer of women, challenged by the multiple and fantastical universes narrated by Sharrazad, which open up spaces for restlessness, listening, negotiation and consensus for the safeguarding of life. In this version, Sharrazad overcomes the solitary self-sufficiency of the astute heroine who saves women, to compose a plan devised with women in subordinate social conditions, who share with her the narratives learned throughout their lives in order to divert the course of history.
