Abstract

The objective of this work is to propose the construction of an interdisciplinary workshop to teach concepts of Kepler's Laws contextualized with Archaeoastronomy to approach the history of science. The activities to be carried out in the Physics laboratory through weekly meetings of 2 hours in classes of the 1st year of high school in a public school in Ananindeua-PA. The main facts of Archaeoastronomy referring to contents about the history of the construction of astronomical concepts will be addressed: megalithic monuments, cave paintings and astronomical artifacts to observe the sky. The methodology to be applied is based on Project-Based Learning (PBL) which enables the construction of a didactic sequence and a multidisciplinary teaching with the creation of models of prehistoric monuments, the use of audio visual resources, experimentation and free software to explain the astronomical concepts of ancient peoples. The expected results with the workshop based on Vygotsky's Sociointeractionist Theory, where the observation is carried out within the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) in the interaction of students, with the teacher and with the didactic materials made in the workshop, seeking to allow active and interactive learning of the students with the teacher mediating the activities and building the knowledge with the student in the classroom. We consider this experience significant for both the teacher and the students at the school, as it will provide dialogue and the multidisciplinarity of Physics within the classroom, pointing out its historical importance for the construction of astronomy concepts in high school.
