The present text proposes the translation from Portuguese into Spanish of the short story “Senhor Diretor” by the Brazilian writer Lygia Fagundes Telles, published for the first time in the book Seminário dos ratos (1977). The main objective of the translation is helping with the diffusion of the author's short stories in Hispanic America, because despite their great relevance and wide literary recognition, there are no translations of these into Spanish.
