This paper examines strategies of constitution of university students in Contemporaneity, in an attempt to understand how their talents are produced and managed in the webs of new capitalism. The starting point of this work is a research project analyzing the supplement called “Vestibular”, which is published by Zero Hora newspaper (RS) and addressed to students who are preparing to enter the university. The investigation has led to the study of two governance strategies found in this material. The first one concerns entrepreneurship, which leads these individuals to a permanent game of personal achievements in the labor market. The second strategy is talent management, which causes students to mobilize their natural talents in differentiated, innovative competences.
