Le but de cette traduction est d'apporter au public brésilien une petite et représentative partie du travail de cette écrivaine si connue en France pour sa littérature subversive et engageante. Virginie Despentes est un nom que le lecteur contemporain de littérature française ne peut manquer de passer, vu son importance. Despentes aime faire la transition entre l'oral et l'écrit, entre le correct et le subversif. Sa littérature reflète ce choc et, pour le faire, elle n'hésite pas à déchirer la langue française. Cette traduction vise donc à tenter de transporter ce choc, cette combativité et ce déchirement de l'original vers le portugais, en utilisant également l'oralité et la familiarité sans échapper à la polémique.
