Resumen

     Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar patrones y tendencias de la accesibilidad en el turismo, con base en la literatura del área. Para realizar una categorización integral del estado del arte sobre accesibilidad en turismo, se realizó una revisión sistemática de literatura de tipo metasíntesis cualitativa, seguida de un análisis de contenido. Se observó una profundización de las investigaciones en el área, con algunas lagunas: falta de estudios sobre normativa y legislación dirigida a personas con discapacidad (PCD) en el turismo; carencia de
estudios sobre las condiciones específicas que afectan la movilidad y sobre la participación de las PCD en puestos de gestión turística. Los hallazgos apuntan a factores ambientales, personales y de salud que, en equilibrio, pueden dar forma a las condiciones ideales para el disfrute del turismo accesible, destacando la necesidad de definir y medir la accesibilidad con precisión.
