Abstract

The present research the view of islet children on the tourist practices in the region where they live, it sought to reflect and seek the humanization of tourism, knowing the daily life, culture and feelings of happiness from the perspective of children resident and revealing how they relate to tourism in its place-territory. The approach used in the research was the ethnographic, based on observations in loco, interactive questionnaires and interviews, applied to children students of the 5th year of a public school in Vila de Encantadas, Ilha do Mel (PR) and interview with the teacher in charge of the class. The results showed that the children studied had a sensitive knowledge about where they lived, had an island identity, and observed tourism as beneficial to the residents; but they felt the impacts of this practice on their daily lives and the natural environment that surrounded them. Already the teacher, understood that the tourist activities did not influence the children and, therefore, did not alter their daily life.

Graduated in tourism management from Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) sector Litoral, participated as a scholarship by the Araucaria foundation of the Project of Scientific initiation tourism and childhood, phase I-a look at the children Islanders Paraná and phase II-the child While tourism, and was also monitored by the program of initiation of teaching subordinated to the pro-rectory of graduation and vocational education (PROGRAD).
Approved by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) as flight attendant and formed as a computer and computer programming assistant, currently works with online content inventory at the tour operator Best Way Trips (BWT).
