Abstract

This article aims to analyze the employability of the disabled woman in the hotel sector of Brasilia-DF. Few studies have realize that aim to combine the theme handicapped woman and the labor market. In this sense, this survey took a exploratory aiming to describe the reality of these professionals. To that end, we conducted a bibliographic and documentary research and applied an interview script along to disabled women working in the sector. The information provided identified the low employability of people with disabilities and especially woman, on the other hand it was found that performance of those people who do not see its limitation as a barrier. It was found that the women interviewed are accepted as they are and do not impose barriers and prejudices about themselves. Understand that the disabled person has higher barriers to entry and to consolidate in the labor market.
