Abstract

The aim of this work was to evaluate the intercrop of the vegetable lettuce and carrot with medicinal plantsbasil and mint. The experiment had done in a small property located in the region of the Basin of the AltoPacuí, Montes Claros – MG. It was used the randomized blocks chanced with seven treatments andthree repetitions. The treatments had consisted of: single lettuce and intercrop with basil and mint, singlecarrot and intercrop with basil and mint, and intercrop lettuce and carrot. The plants demonstratedsignificant results how the production system, since the contrasts demonstrated which, as for lettuce asfor carrot, the intercrop was advantage
