Advocacia e sistema jurídico nas primeiras décadas do Estado Soviético (1917-1956)

Este artigo é uma introdução às transformações que ocorreram no âmbito da advocacia nas primeiras décadas da União Soviética. Descreve-se o surgimento repentino da profissão na era czarista e seu desaparecimento com a Revolução de Outubro; analisa-se os motivos que levaram ao restabelecimento da profissão no início da década de 1920 e as mudanças que ocorreram após a coletivização total no final da década de 1920 e até pouco depois da morte de Stalin. Ao mesmo tempo, analisam-se as teses de diferentes pesquisadores sobre a história das profissões nos países capitalistas e busca-se aplicá-las às transformações ocorridas na advocacia durante esse período na União Soviética.
