A ditadura civil-militar brasileira é tema de uma ampla produção historiográfica. Entretanto, discussões sobre a complexa trama entre ditadura, gênero e sexualidade, entre os anos 1964-85, demandam mais estudos e reflexões. Assim sendo, o objetivo deste artigo é apresentar um breve debate sobre a historiografia do período, atentando para as relações de gênero e sexualidade e situar alguns elementos para se repensar as masculinidades e feminilidades disparatadas em Secos & Molhados, Dzi Croquettes e As Tais Frenéticas.
