Resenha da tradução do romance Mulheres de Cinzas, de Mia Couto, para a língua inglesa, Women of Ashes, traduzida por David Brookshaw. O livro em português foi publicado pela editora Caminho, em 2015. Sua versão em inglês foi publicada pela editora Picador, em 2018. Esta resenha analisa elementos textuais e paratextuais do texto-fonte, bem como do texto-alvo. Além disso, observamos quais estratégias tradutórias foram adotadas diante de trechos potencialmente difíceis de traduzir para o idioma inglês.
