Análise dos manuais chineses de tradução português – chinês com base nas considerações de Nord sobre as competências de tradução

Na aplicação do seu Modelo de Análise Textual Orientado para a Tradução na formação de tradutores profissionais, Nord (2006, p. 155) indica que o foco consiste no desenvolvimento da competência de transferência [“competência de tradução” no sentido mais restrito (Nord, 2006, p. 161)]. No entanto, de acordo com Nord (2006, p. 161), nas aulas de tradução, apesar da consolidação da competência de transferência, outras quatro competências (linguística, cultural, de temática e de pesquisa) também podem ser desenvolvidas. Sendo parte importante nas aulas de tradução, os manuais de tradução desempenham um papel essencial, mediante a análise dos quais, podemos conhecer de que forma é que estas competências são desenvolvidas nas aulas. No presente trabalho, iremos analisar três manuais chineses de tradução português – chinês com base nas ponderações de Nord quanto às cinco competências de tradução (competência de transferência, competência linguística, competência cultural, competência de temática e competência de pesquisa), pretendendo perceber como é que a consolidação destas cinco competências é refletida nas estruturações e conteúdos nos manuais em questão.
