This review addresses the book A árvore de luz by the Italian writer Rina Sara Virgillito. The translation of this book is an important work in the field of Italian literature in Brazil. Virgillito wrote the poems in this book using, in an exemplary way, the verbal, visual, and vocal resources available. The translation into the Portuguese language, in most cases, recovers these poetic resources. The editorial work, in addition to being very aesthetic, respects the poetic use of the blank page in the translated poems. Finally, this translation presents a brief introductory study, which also helps novice readers in the universe of the Milanese poet.
