This text develops conceptual reflections on vocal listening and production in their technical and poetic perspectives for the stage based on studies by feminist philosopher Silvia Federici. Federici revisits and problematizes current society from the perspective of gender relations, which are directly linked to (and serve) the capitalist economic and political system. From this context, the text moves thoughts on principles of vocal production for the stage, dialoguing and observing how the social and economic problems structured by capitalism can also be perceived in vocal practices in art, in addition to pointing out clues and keys of thought for feminist and anti-colonial practices and poetics of the voice on stage.
