This article presents an excerpt from the report on the pedagogical experience described in the thesis The State of Tuning for Acting articulated from elements of Lessac's Kinesensic Training, defended at UFBA, in 2020. It emphasizes the contribution of Performing Arts students of UFGD by sharing their testimonies about their experiences in an elective discipline that combined aspects from the somatics field and body-voice dynamics. By adapting aspects of the American researcher's work in a Brazilian university context, it was possible to combine body, voice and acting content, which tend to appear separate, due to the course's curricular structure.
