This dossier aims to investigate how relationships between the image (films, documentaries, photography, video art etc.) and the text (literary, historical, documentary etc.) to identify, by recognizing the specific use of textual and visual fiction, how works and artists from different eras gave rise to a whole system of aesthetic and philosophical thought in which fiction indicates a semantics of seeing / being seen as a questioning motive for the subject's existence.
