This paper investigates how Covid-19 exposes the weaknesses of the hegemonic agri-food paradigm, proposing other paradigms that are supported by new epistemic premises. We proposed the connection between land and water, highlighting the agroecological production, which explores sociability and knowledge production from two contexts: the urban gardens of São Paulo and the water/agriculture relationship in the “quilombos” of Capela and Moinho (Chapada dos Veadeiros-GO), whose discussions are entangled by the theoretical-political notions of “common” and Agroecology. The dialogue between concepts as well as contexts shows the power of a converging diversity to understand complex scenarios of socio-environmental crisis - and its interface with food - in addition to point out ways that are still little contemplated in territories management. The “common”, materialized in community practices, points to a post-pandemic world that overcomes the split between life/economy and human/nature.
