Abstract

In the confinement scenario caused by the Covid-19 outbreak and from selected works, with the main reference in non-Eurocentric perspectives and cosmologies, we discuss in this text: our humanity condition, the intersection between culture and environment, the relation between humans and pathogenies, how our society cause these crisis, and how the traditional and indigenous peoples are affected in this process. Finally, we discuss how traditional ecological knowledge (TEK), related to these traditional and indigenous peoples, possible the existence of other worlds and emerges as one of the main alternatives for solving the complex challenges we are experiencing in our society.
