Abstract

The evaluation as biofertilizer of an bacterial fermented broth from sugar cane, containing 30% of L-glutamic acid, on cabbage in organic system of production, was studied. The treatments were solutions containing different concentrations of the fermented broth (0.0; 0.1 ,0.2, 0.4 and 0.8 mL L-1) applied to the leaves of plants, every 7 or 14 days. At harvest, were determined the average height, diameter, fresh weight and yield of cabbage heads. The biofertilizer effect was observed especially in the intervalof 14 days between applications, with a linear increase in production due to the concentration of bacterial fermented broth, with maximum productivity of 42.08 tha-1.
