Abstract

The objective this work was to evaluate the behavior of the exploration of the vegetables lettuce andcarrot. The analyzed data had been deriving of the experiment carried through in a property located inthe region of the Basin of the Alto Pacuí, Montes Claros, Minas Gerais State, Brazil, distributed inrandomized blocks, with three repetitions. Where the evaluated treatments: combination of lettuce withcarrot, basil and mint; and combination of carrot with lettuce, basil and mint. Agroeconomic indicatorswere used to evaluate the efficiency of the systems such as the appropriate use of the land gross andnet revenue, monetary advantage, corrected monetary advantage, rate of return and profit margin wereused to evaluated the efficiency of intercropping systems. The land equivalent ratio was 2,95, showingagroeconomic efficiency.
