This interview is part of the vol. 7, no. 14 of PatryTer, which pays tribute to Dr. José Omar Moncada Maya, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Geography of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and who has dedicated more than 50 years of his life to geographical science. We recognize his work and permanent dedication to Latin American Geography, from Mexico. The interview presents many aspects of the history of Mexican Geography and the national and international research experiences of the interviewee.
