The present article aims to reflect about the possibilities of the AJUP considering reflexions developed by members of NAJUP, attached to UFPE. The metodology was based on the analysis of the speech of two active members from NAJUP, considering the similarities, the contradictory elements and the reflexions observed on the speech
of the two members who were provoked to reflect upon questions such as the nature of the AJUPs activities, the projects developed, the relations between law and popular education, and the limitations percieved in these practices. These analysis, furthermore, are situated and based on the practical activities developed by Najup with the Esperanças I, II and III, located in Recife, and show how the Najup members reflect about how they act, principles, limitations and possibilities to better the way they act with the members of the ocupations and develop popular demands. It is about, therefore, besides an historical approach, a consideration about how the members reflect about their own actions,
group and how the concepts evolve on the practical ground.
