Abstract

Abstract:  How to think about racism? This question is generally raised by Toni Morrisson and in his lectures at Harvard in 2016 he succeeded in providing an unexpected answer. This paper deals with the link between racism as cultural and sociological learning and its inner root as a place where otherness emerges as an enemy in each of us. However, to better understand that stance of inner denial, a return to the forms of otherness such as literature has succeeded into formulating what has become a necessary detour. Quignard, Burroughs, Musil were summoned for the occasion.
