Abstract

The article investigates the historiographical context of German Third Reich locating their ways of censorship, its influence with political propaganda Nazi and its climax with bücherverbrennung action (book burning) involving German libraries. It establishes itself as a theoretical approach of historical, bibliographic and documentary character, adopting the knowledge of evidence, evidencing the interpretative aspects of other forms of knowledge that share the clues and footprints through indirect knowledge.
