The sound of the piece Afluentes Acreanas

This article begins with a description of the sounds present in Jaqueline Chagas' play Afluentes Acreanas, staged in Rio Branco, Acre, from 2020 to 2025. Based on a breakdown of the play, I highlight the sounds that I consider essential for the scenic reading of the staging, namely: music, noises produced by actors, and the instruments used. Costa (2022) and Lignelli (2014) are just some of the authors used to understand the epistemological and aesthetic construction of sound on stage. Through these, we seek to understand how these sounds are constituted and the different prominent roles they play during the play.
