Abstract

Everything is created, nothing is destroyed: the symphonic actor's manifesto brings out the holistic thinking of the Italian actor Matteo Belli, creator of the La Voce Incarnata (Embodied Voice) methodology. The original written between the years 2010 and 2011 describes the essence of being an actor approaching it as a form of love, and through this prism reveals the central concept of the text, the symphonic actor, whose ethical and poetic principles are launched beyond of theatrical aesthetics, they are placed in all creative processes, whether pedagogical or poetic, or of everyday life itself. All of these sectors sound in harmony and this thought-practice extends to the specificity of the actor's language, especially over the complex faculty of vocal expression.
