Fatores de risco para a radicalização. Estudo de revisão sobre as evidências internacionais

O artigo apresenta, com base na literatura especializada, alguns dos conceitos centrais para o debate sobre processos de radicalização política, oferecendo uma visão global a respeito das evidências encontradas em revisões sistemáticas sobre fatores de risco para o fenômeno. O tema possui especial relevância tendo em conta as ameaças à democracia em curso em vários países, incluindo o Brasil, notadamente pela ação de grupos de extrema-direita. Selecionamos para exame as cinco revisões sistemáticas publicadas em inglês pela plataforma Google Scholar, nos últimos 10 anos, melhor ranqueadas segundo os critérios bibliométricos do software Publish or Perish (PoP). Em que pese as diferenças metodológicas das revisões examinadas e a presença de fatores de risco já identificados pelos estudos criminológicos contemporâneos, os estudos também encontraram fatores de risco específicos aos processos de radicalização, o que atualiza a necessidade da construção de uma agenda de pesquisas latino-americanas sobre o tema.
