The Brazilian Agroecology Congress (CBA) was wonderful! Ana Primavesi, Dorothy Stang, Paulo Freire, Costabeber, Sister Veva, Dema, and many other iconic figures from our field of struggle, who have already departed from this earthly plane, were certainly restless in the celestial world, eager to burst through the belly of heaven and land in the Brazilian semi-arid region, right in the heart of the Federal University of the São Francisco Valley (Univasf), in Juazeiro, Bahia, to be among us. The canon of academic events was, once again, suspended. However, we do not mean to say that the congresses of the Brazilian Agroecology Association (ABA) are not academic. That is not what we are talking about. On the contrary, they are something that we consider difficult to explain, given the limitations of our ability to see beyond what our vision and thought can reach. But it doesn't hurt to try, at least to attempt, a reflection, from our humble point of view.
