The aim of this study was to evaluate the early development of corn plants treated with Nux vomica homeopathy and submitted to Dichelops melacanthus. Nux vomica homeopathy prepared at 12, 36, 60 and 84 DH dynamizations was evaluated in three application methods: spray, irrigation and seed treatment. On the sixth day after last treatment the replicate plots were subjected to stress by the insect. Corn plants were infested with a D.melacanthus bug for 36 hours. It was found that the application method of irrigation was the most appropriate for Nux vomica on corn crop. Moreover, 36 DH Nux vomica homeopathy by irrigation favored early development of shoots and roots in corn plants.
