Abstract

One of the principal environment problems caused by the anthropic activity in agriculture is the soil degradation. Among the forms of erosion, the gully erosion are causing consequences more severes for the rural population in terms of loss of usable area, siltation of rivers and others. In the settlement Olga Benário this problem is observed and perceived in some areas by the seated families, being a factor that causes damage for the community, from the ambient and economic point of view. With the visualization of this problem, was desenvolved a pedagogic project. In the sense of constructing knowledge for understanding the process related with the gullies erosion formations. Was used action-research for the development of this pedagogic project, through activities that ensured the construction of knowledge important for understanding the processes. A factor that influence directly and indirectly gullies erosion formation, were systematized and organized on the conceptual map. Aiming to gully erosion control in the area and prevent the emergence of other, these knowledge were applied in developed control actions and in planning more sustainable production in relation to soil management, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed methodology
