Abstract

This article is a selection of images whose aim is to show the forms of power that underlie the respective examples of architecture. In the former Raj Indian traditional architecture is preserved with its palaces, strongholds and temples. In Goa, the former Portuguese colony, the intentions of the ancient rulers are visible through its beautiful churches. It is supposed in this article that these images are suggestive enough.
