The most recent translation of Alain de Benoist’s book in Portugal refers to a systematic critique of liberalism and the various liberalisms, understood as the dominant ideology and political philosophy. Benoist, who starts from the conception of the French New Right, bases his criticism of liberalism in his book. In this review, a comparative analysis will be made between the work of Benoist and the work of Patrick Deneen "Why is liberalism failing?" , that is, the comparison between two right, with different influences, thought and philosophy. The non-liberal right has several critical foundations of liberalism, which is important to be known by the readers, because electively there are growing right, either in the USA, in several European countries and in Latin America, It is important that in the academy the reasons for this growth are perceived - critically, and that the work of philosophers is to analyze the consequences of this growth, also some may specialize in the study of the right, as the two authors discussed in this paper.
