Abstract
The text describes my intimate connection with a park – a fragment of the Cerrado biome remaining in the urban space of Brasília in the 21st century – which becomes a "living body island," marked by aggression and degradation.
I observe it with pain and reflect on the exploitation of the Earth and nature, where landscapes become spaces of resistance and regeneration but also of vulnerability and suffering, and on the cruelty of capitalism, which destroys lives and territories without remorse.
