Carta a Tobias Hume

Abstract
O presente artigo toma a forma de uma carta a Tobias Hume, compositor e gambista (1569–1645), explorando a proximidade entre intérprete e compositor. Uma carta que resgata uma conversa atemporal sobre a natureza efêmera do som, que se dissipa a cada nota, a cada fragmento de tempo. Resta a memória. Sobrevive a gravação. A presença de um e de outro é sobreposta pela música composta por Hume interpretada ao longo dos séculos. O diálogo por meio de palavras e sons se faz necessária para que a música sobreviva. Uma gravação de três obras de Hume fazem parte deste trabalho e podem ser escutadas através de QR Code e/ou link do YouTube.
