The following philosophical essay intends to introduce a rapprochement between Sinofuturism and Chinese philosophies of the time without intending to present a conclusion to the discussion. To do so, I start from a contemporary theme: the relationships and tensions between the terms ‘‘Asian Futurism’, ‘Sinofuturism’ and ‘Techno-Orientalism’ as a way of thinking about the future from the Chinese experience. Next, we return to the analyzes made by some theorists regarding how time is treated in Chinese thought and its relationship with Western temporal models.
