Abstract
Este texto es el resultado de una presentación en el Coloquio Internacional Cosmopoliticas II, el 18 de noviembre de 2020. En él, busco trazar algunos de los desafíos que surgen cuando pensamos en "¿cómo llevar a los animales en cuenta?" a partir de la proposición cosmopolítica. Pienso especialmente en los animales criados en régimen de confinamiento, en la medida en que esa pregunta está siendo hecha por corporaciones de la industria de la carne. Para seguir con esa preocupación, analizo cómo la bioseguridad — como dispositivo social, técnico e ideológico — ha actuado de manera compleja y paradójica en esos ambientes, interfiriendo en los procesos de salud y enfermedad y multiplicando los desafíos de vivir y morir juntos
